Dogs of these breeds are harder to train, but with a great desire and effort of the dog owner they can even become a champion in the dog competition. Ready to do your best? Follow our advices and be ready to change your dog behavior.
The first step is not so hard to implement, but it is still the most important. Spend more time while training your pet. Nothing happens without hard work. Here the same rules valid. Since young puppies have short attention spans they can’t do much, but you still have to train them the main commands including “sit” “lay down” “stay” and etc. The best time to do it is when your dog is about 7 to 8 weeks. However, do not forget that you have to spend at least 1 or 2 hours a day. Routine and constant repeat of commands helps dog to remember everything much easier.
The second step is your behavior with a dog. Want to achieve the best results? Follow the tips.
1.Be consistent. Repeat the same rules and the same words over and over again.
2.Be short. Give the command only once. Do not repeat it. If your dog does not do what it says – help him saying no words.
3.Be generous. Reward your dog every time he does a good job. Different dog treats is a good choice.
4.Be prepared for the worst. If the dog is completely distracted and acts like a real problem maker let him to calm down and even ignore him instead of shouting or acting like a crazy yourself. Believe us, it won’t help.
5.Be happy. Your dog is your friend, so smile at him and be friendly. Dogs are really sensitive and they do not tolerate mad or testy people.
